IIT-M இன் முக்கியமான துறைகள், ஆய்வகங்கள், ஆராய்ச்சி மையங்கள் அனைத்தும் பொதுமக்களுக்கு திறக்கப்பட்டன.

எந்த துறையின் மாணவராக இருந்தாலும், cutting-edge innovation-ஐ நேரில் பார்க்கலாம்.

Step inside the world of discovery! Join us for the IIT Madras Institute Open House 2026, from 2nd to 4th January 2026. This annual event throws open the doors to some of India’s most advanced research facilities, offering a direct look at how ideas take shape, evolve, and become solutions that matter.

Visitors will be able to:

• Walk through 100+ cutting-edge labs, including major National and Institute Research Centres

• Experience 80+ exhibits featuring live demos, prototypes, and research projects by students and faculty

• Explore innovations spanning 18 academic departments, from engineering to science and beyond

• Be a part of one of IITM’s largest public initiatives, with nearly 95,000 registrations and 60,000 visitors expected

The Open House is organised under the “Anivarukkum IITM – IIT Madras for All” mission, making the Institute’s research ecosystem accessible to learners, professionals, educators, and curious visitors from across the country.
