MEC TO MICROSOFT LEARN MIGRATION CLARIFICATION

1 - MEC will fully shut down sometime after May 9 (exact date TBD) as they are making sure the merge goes perfectly

2 - Log into MEC 

3 - Log into Learn with the exact same method

4 - Click the blue "Try Learn Educator Center" button.

5 - If that is the first time you've done that, you will be asked to consent to sharing the data between the accounts.  Otherwise, it will just take you into Learn.

6 - To double check, take a module (what they call courses in Learn) in the Learn Educator Center and you will see the badge in BOTH Learn and in MEC.

7 - your MEC data will be retained for a year, so if MEC shuts down, and you didn't connect the accounts, you will be able to get help to bring your MEC data into Learn (but only if you use the exact same login method).

8 - If you are changing your work soon and this is how you log into MEC, be sure to log into Learn with that email, then go to your profile picture, select Settings > Account Management and you can add a personal email.
